Thousands of runners each year take part in the Nike Runs, one of the world’s largest running communities. This project promoted the 12th Nike Run of Athens, which took place on Sunday 11 December 2011 at the Environmental Park “Antonis Tritsis” at Ilion.

Once again, running enthusiasts got together and run the classic route of 10 km which consists of three rounds of the park 3.33km. The first male and female winner received a big prize while all participants had the opportunity to win other gifts.

As in every Nike Run, at the end of the race the After Area was available to those who wanted to relax and get coaching and nutritional advice from experts
